Control Relays
Four pole industrial and miniature control relays offer an economical and versatile solution for motor switching with the option for a total of eight poles in normally open or normally closed states. While a standard 3 pole contactor offers power poles in the normally open state, control relays come with 4 poles and all possible configurations, with bases of 2 open and 2 closed, 3 open and 1 closed and 4 open and auxiliaries with all four pole possible combinations.
Many manufacturers offer miniature control relays, from Eaton's XTRM line to Allen Bradleys 700-K series that has the same options and reliability as the larger models but in a compact unit for applications where space constraints are limiting. Either option provides for easy installation, as all 4 pole relays can easily be mounted on standard 35MM Din rail and come with screw terminals for easy installation which saves time and reduces the costs of installation and downtime.
