22MM pushbuttons, selector switches and pilot lights for any application
The main purpose of a pilot device is to operate a piece of machinery without having to interact with the controls within a panel. More specifically the intent is for someone to start or stop a piece of machinery or to view the status via a signalling device such as a pilot light. Pilot devices are broken down into 4 main categories:
- Pushbuttons - like the name suggests, these are buttons that are used to turn devices on or off through normally open or normally closed contact blocks. There are two main types, momentary and maintained (push to test) and come in a wide variety of colors along with illuminated and non-illuminated options
- Selector Switches - these switches provide for two and three position operation for various applications, such as up/down or forward/reverse. With both momentary and maintained options, selector switches offer wide range of possibilities
- Pilot Lights - these visual indicators are used to notify of a condition such as the running of a motor, an overload condition or a simple on/off operation.
- Emergency Stops - These large mushroom-style operators are used for easily stopping a motor in a emergency situation and are combined with normally closed contact blocks.
