WEG MPW40 motor starter protector with adjustable AMP ranges from 0.10 up to 40 AMPS (must select specific AMP range above). This 3 pole manual motor starter comes with a rotary ON/OFF handle and class 10 overload trip characteristics (trips in 10 seconds or less). The WEG MPW40 has screw terminals and mounts on standard 35MM DIN rail for easy installation and removal. Optional front and side mounted auxiliaries are available along with undervoltage trips and handle operating mechanisms for through-the-door operation.

This series of WEG MPW40 manual motor protectors are approved for Type E protection, otherwise known as a self-protected combination motor controller. With a UL approval, the MPW40 can be used downstream of a fuse or circuit breaker to provide this level of protection up to 40 AMPS. The benefit is that all these protections are provided in one device: overload and short circuit protection, disconnect and motor control.
