Product Description
The Siemens 3RB3036-1WB0 solid state/electronic overload relay is adjustable from 20 to 80 AMPS, has Class 10 tripping characteristic (trips in 10 seconds or less), mounts directly to the load side any 3RT2035-1A, 3RT2036-1A, 3RT2037-1A or 3RT2038-1A 3 pole Sirius contactor and comes with screw terminals. Other features include phase loss protection, an internal power supply which eliminates the need for a 3rd party power source, manual and automatic reset along with a set of normally open and normally closed auxiliary contacts. For additional motor protection options, try the 3RB3036-2WB0, which offers the same AMP range but Class 20 tripping, or the 3RB3036-1UB0 which is adjustable from 12 to 50 AMPS.

The 3RB3036-1WB0 solid-state overload relays up to 80 AMP with internal power supply have been designed for inverse-time delayed protection of loads with normal and heavy starting against excessive temperature rise due to overload, phase unbalance or phase failure. An overload, phase unbalance or phase failure result in an increase of the motor current beyond the set motor rated current. This current rise is detected by the current transformers integrated into the devices and evaluated by corresponding solid-state circuits which then output a pulse to the auxiliary contacts. The auxiliary contacts then switch off the load by means of the contactors control circuit. The break time depends on the ratio between the tripping current and set current ,Ie and is stored in the form of a long-term stable tripping characteristic.
