Product Description
The Siemens 3RB3026-1SB0 is a electronic overload relay that is adjustable from 3 to 12 AMPS, has phase loss protection and mounts to any Siemens size 0 3 pole contactor from the 9 AMP 3RT2023 to the 38 AMP 3RT2028. This next generation solid state overload relay comes with screw terminals and Class 10 tripping to prevent severe motor damage in over current conditions. In addition to the 3RB3026-1SB0, Siemens also offers the 3RB3026-2SB0, which has Class 20 tripping and the 3RB3026-1QB0, which has a slightly higher AMP range and is adjustable from 6 to 25 AMPS.

The 3RB3026 solid-state overload relays up to 40 A with internal power supply have been designed for inverse-time delayed protection of loads with normal and heavy starting against excessive temperature rise due to overload, phase unbalance or phase failure. An overload, phase unbalance or phase failure result in an increase of the motor current beyond the set motor rated current. This current rise is detected by the current transformers integrated into the devices and evaluated by corresponding solid-state circuits which then output a pulse to the auxiliary contacts. The auxiliary contacts then switch off the load by means of the contactors control circuit. The break time depends on the ratio between the tripping current and set current ,Ie and is stored in the form of a long-term stable tripping characteristic.
